Dr. Achim Dercks visits RGIT

Dr. Achim Dercks, Deputy Managing Director of the DIHK, visited Washington last week and held meetings with numerous US authorities and local think tanks.

On Thursday, RGIT hosted a panel discussion on “Investing in Friendship – German FDI in the US“, where Dr. Dercks was joined by Mark Tomkins, President & CEO of the GACC Midwest, company representatives and representatives of regional economic development agencies. The focus was on the question of how the USA manages to successfully attract and expand foreign direct investment.
