Heiko Willems (BDI) visits Washington DC

Heiko Willems, Department Head of the Brussels office of the Federation of German Industries (BDI), visited with the Representative of German Industry and Trade in Washington DC this week. During two roundtable discussions with stakeholders from politics and business, he elaborated on the upcoming EU elections and their potential impact on transatlantic relations. Alongside Dr. Christoph Schemionek, Representative of German Industry in Washington DC, he participated in meetings with the German Embassy, the US Department of Commerce, the Office of the US Trade Representative (USTR), the US Treasury Department, and the US Chamber of Commerce, among others.
