RGIT at GACC South in Texas

The renegotiation of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) generates great interest among members of the German American Chamber of Commerce (GACC) South in Texas. On January 29th, RGIT’s Vice President Freya Lemcke, gave a speech at the New Year's Reception of the GACC in and informed guests on the topic

On January 30th in a discussion led by the German Consul General Thomas Meister, Lemcke presented the topic in Houston to GACC members on site. At both events it became clear that German companies in Texas would also be negatively affected by a withdrawal of trade liberalization achieved under NAFTA.
