NAFTA and European Investors: Impacts Across the Atlantic


On January 17, the Woodrow Wilson Center’s Canada and Mexico Institutes convened a panel discussion on “NAFTA and European Investors: Impacts Across the Atlantic.” Daniel Andrich, President & CEO of RGIT, discussed the potential effects of the ongoing NAFTA re-negotiations on the trade and investment flows of German businesses located in North America.

Also participating in the panel discussion were Ambassador Tony Wayne, Wilson Center Global Fellow and former U.S. Ambassador to Mexico, Shawn Donnan, World Trade Editor of the Financial Times, Damien Levie, First Counselor for Trade and Agriculture at the European Union Delegation, Michelle Egan, Professor and Jean Monnet Chair at American University; and Laura Dawson, director of the Canada Institute.
