German Companies Still Optimistic

Despite the turmoil in the Eurozone, German companies have an upbeat outlook, according to the results of a DIHK economic survey of over 25,000 enterprises. Accordingly, the perspective of these companies with regard to the near-term future is decidedly more optimistic. The DIHK raised its growth forecast for this year from 1,0 to 1,3 percent.

"The economic performance curve is again pointing upwards”, states DIHK’s report. Expectations with regard to exports have brightened for the first time in 12 months, and investment is gaining momentum. Employment statistics have also shrugged off the economic crisis, and hiring goals on the part of business have ticked upwards. Below please find the links to the documents:
