2017 World Economy Day and U.S. Conference in Berlin


The leaders of German foreign trade chambers (AHK), delegates and representatives of German industry from around the globe met at the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DIHK) in Berlin for the 2017 World Economic Day. The key topics of the two-day conference are free trade and the current shift towards more protectionist policies in the global economy.

In his remarks at the "AHK Weltspiegel" panel, Daniel Andrich - President and CEO, the Representative of German Industry and Trade (RGIT) in Washington, DC - informs guests on the current political and economic climate in the U.S.  

To illustrate the continuous strong economic relations between Germany and the U.S., Andrich highlights the latest investments, jobs and bilateral trade numbers.
