The Representative of German Industry and Trade (RGIT) is the liaison office of the Federation of German Industries (BDI) and the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK) in Washington.

RGIT represents the interests of the German business community vis-à-vis both the U.S. administration and the international organizations based in Washington, D.C. We report regularly on economically significant developments as well as legislative activities in the U.S. and provide our partners in the United States with information on German business.

RGIT cooperates with the German American Chambers of Commerce in New York, Atlanta, and Chicago. The fostering of bilateral trade relations and investment and the provision of consulting services to companies with business interests in the United States are among the key tasks of the chambers. User acknowledges that no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between the user and RGIT as a result of this Agreement or use of this Website. User agrees not to hold himself or herself out as a representative, agent, or employee of RGIT, and RGIT shall not be liable for any representation, act, or omission of the User.

Indemnification
As a condition of use of this Website, the user agrees to indemnify RGIT and all officers, directors, employees and agents of RGIT against and from and against any and all claims, demands, judgments, costs, liabilities, expenses (including attorneys' fees), and damages arising out of claims resulting from user's use of this Website, including, without limitation, any claims.
